Channel settings are located at:

Menu > Channel > Channel Settings

Common Settings

General tab

Here you can change general settings for your channel:

>> Channel Name is the Sales Channel’s Name,

>> Seller Name is your seller name to be sent to the channel,

>> Currency is your transaction currency in the market, given the market allows this currency. If the market has only one currency, this variable is set to market’s currency and becomes a constant,

>> Enable Repricer, enables the repricer (if this is an Amazon Channel). Repricer is a useful tool to adjust products prices within given limits and competitor’s prices; if there is a competitor, it will go below their price, and if there is no competition it will increase the price; for more information regarding Repricer click here,

>> Product Sync Enabled, enables product updates for this channel when clicked on the sync button,

>> Ignore publish State, ignores default publish state that was set in Menu > Settings > Global > Content Settings. This switch sets the default behavior for a newly created item whether it will be published or not. For more information read the article “How to control Publish State”.

Sync tab

>> Include all inventory, when checked includes all items in the inventory (All brands, items) for sync by default, unchecking this option only sends updated items. If you include the whole inventory the processing time of the channel server will lengthen depending on the data size. If you are changing a couple of items, it will just be send those and leave the rest untouched.

>> Allow Product creation, if checked, allows new products to be created during sync, in case the product you are sending does not exist in the channel database,

> Allow Product Update allows updating product data, prices, etc.

>> Enabled Updates selects what to update in the channel; you can update Product data Quantity, Price, and product images,

> Allow Product Deletion, if checked, allows removal of the product from channel database, if it was removed from your database; use this option with caution, as it will delete items from the channel server and recovering deleted items is a lengthy and cumbersome effort.

>> Remove discontinued Items, if checked, removes the items from the channel, if they were marked as “Discontinued” in their product data; unchecking this option will leave discontinued items in the channel database, and they will be visible to your customers as discontinued,

> Create Discontinued Items this will recreate deleted discontinued items in the platform database. This is useful for SEO purposes. Use this option with discretion as it will bring back discontinued items to the sales channel as discontinued.

Orders tab

>> Enable Order Download, when checked, enables order information download to your StoreAutomator System database, which consists of, Customer Name, address, ordered items, their quantities, tax, and shipping costs. This setting applies to all items in the channel. If you uncheck this, then no orders will be downloaded to StoreAutomator system; and you need to follow up with your orders in some other interface e.g.in the homepage of your sales channel.

>> Order Download Mode, (for Amazon Channels only), downloads FBA or FBM or All orders. This is useful to figure which orders are Fulfilled by Amazon or your store.

>> Order Acknowledge Mode sets the default acknowledgment behavior when an order is received. An acknowledged order is your commitment to the sales channel and must be fulfilled by your store. When you receive an order, depending on this setting, it will either do nothing, or acknowledge all orders or acknowledge orders in your stock only. You can leave this at “Do nothing” and when you send the tracking information of the package an automatic order acknowledgment will be sent to the channel.

>> Enable Tracking update when checked it enables sending Tracking Numbers to the sales channel, which can be forwarded to the customer.

>> Order notification emails is a list of emails of your team who will respond to an order when an order is received. The system will forward the order information to these people so they can pick up items, make the packages and ship them to the customers. Multiple emails can be entered by separating with commas or semi-columns.

>> Backorder Notification Emails, are the emails of people who will respond to a backorder situation when you don’t have the items in your stock. Multiple emails can be entered by separating with commas or semi-columns.

>> Enable order forwarding

when checked this will automatically forward all orders received from this channel to the fulfillment merchant selected in the drop-down menu. Use this option with caution as it will forward all orders to this merchant for fulfillment. Also you can ask for tracking numbers from the merchants by checking the checkbox underneath. You can use this:

              >>> If you don’t have a warehouse of your own and fulfilling orders through other merchants,

              >>> Or, you are using another program to fulfill your orders within your warehouse,

              >>> Or, if you are going for a vacation and shutting down your store for a while.

>> Export Orders After This feature will export orders after the order number entered. E.g. your company is 10 years old, and you just need to see last years orders, which is order number 6734 and up; so just enter 6734 in the textbox and the system will download orders after this number.
